Pakora Chicken Recipe

Pakora chicken is a popular Indian snack made with marinated chicken pieces coated in a spicy chickpea flour batter and deep-fried until crispy and golden. It is a delicious and flavorful dish that can be enjoyed as an appetizer or a main course.

Ingredients:

500 grams boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
1 cup chickpea flour (besan)
2 tablespoons rice flour
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpea flour, rice flour, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well.
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and coat them evenly. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavors.
In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium heat.
Take a marinated chicken piece and dip it into the hot oil. Repeat the process with a few more pieces, but make sure not to overcrowd the pan.
Fry the chicken pieces until they turn golden brown and crispy. Flip them occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Once cooked, remove the pakoras from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Repeat the frying process with the remaining chicken pieces.
Serve the pakora chicken hot with mint chutney or ketchup as a dipping sauce.

This pakora chicken recipe takes approximately 40 minutes to prepare and cook. It yields around 4 servings, depending on the portion size. Enjoy the crispy and flavorful pakora chicken as a snack or a delicious side dish!
