Sesame Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

– 500 grams boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 2 tablespoons sesame oil
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 2 teaspoons cornstarch
– 1 teaspoon minced garlic
– 1 teaspoon minced ginger
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Chopped green onions for garnish

Cooking Instructions:

1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, cornstarch, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Whisk until the cornstarch is fully dissolved.
2. Add the chicken to the marinade mixture and toss until well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
5. In the same skillet, add the sesame seeds and toast them for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss it with the toasted sesame seeds. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
